Pinarello Bicycles has earned its place as a prince among Italian
(and in fact all) bicycle makers. At the same time,
Pinarello is known as innovative. Its' new aptly named Prince as
well as its FP series bicycle
frames reflect both traits. Ridden by Miguel Indurain to five
consecutive Tour de France titles and by Oscar Pereira in his fine
finish in the 2007 Tour, this firm's bicycles are not simply
works of art; these bikes are made to go fast and they handle
extraordinarily well. Come see these beauties and take
them out for a test ride.

Prince Carbon (new for 2008)

|
MSRP: $5000 frameset
(frame, fork, headset) The Prince is a
beautiful bicycle. As marvelously as the Paris rides (and it
is a fantastically responsive and smooth bicycle), the Prince
deserves the 25% premium pricing. Details abound in describing
it. The "stock" fully built bike uses Pinarello's best MOST
components, and is stunning because EVERYTHING matches. However this
frame is meant to be custom built and your imagination and budgets
are the only factors limiting the final Prince solution.

FP 5 Carbon

|
MSRP: $3500
full Ultegra Bike (full 30HM12K carbon!)
The FP5 bicycle is an evolution of the successful F3:13. It is a full carbon fiber monocoque frame
with the unique looking ONDA fork and rear seat stay. Pinarello says
this accounts for ride quality and handling; we say it looks snazzy.
As most well done carbon fiber bikes do, it employs an oversized
bottom bracket. To make it look even livelier, the F5 frame uses a
12K weave which noticeably accents the carbon frame. The FP5
is a complete bicycle and is available in 8 sizes from 48.5 51 53 55
57 59. The weight to price ratio is excellent (1150 grams --
very nice).

FP 2

|
MSRP: $2000
The FP2 is a great bike
for someone who wants Italian design in a well priced aluminum
frame (triple butted 7005 T6 to be exact). It uses the same ONDA
fork and seat stay that its more expensive FP5 brother uses.
It uses the Campy Mirage 10 speed grouppo with a MOST compact crank.
Come visit to see it in person.
