Schedule: Indoor cycling studio available for use by clients upon request if no classes are being conducted. See explanation of classes below.  Please call or write in advance for reservations. Thank you! Indoor/Outdoor means you have the option to go outdoor.

Please note that we will be closed on Friday in observance of the 4th of July.

Changes/New Sessions:

1. New Multisport Session on Sunday’s @ 7:00AM:

We have added a regular multisport training session on Sundays at 7AM. Sessions will be conducted at Sherwood Island and will focus on swimming, cycling, and running. This week’s session will be a mini tri of the following distances: swim 1/4 mile, bike 9.5 and run 1.9.

2. CT and Pan Mass Challenge Build Up ride starting this Saturday @ 7:00AM:

Our 1st Connecticut and Pan Mass Challenge cycling training build up ride will be this Saturday at 7AM. It will be a 50 mile bicycle training ride.

3. Swim Sessions: Please note our new swim sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. One of the sessions is open water and two are outdoor pool sessions.

4. Tuesday morning Boot Camp: We have added a 10AM TARGETough Boot Camp to our class schedule this summer for Tuesday’s.

5. Friday morning Kickboxing (TARGETKick). We've moved the time from 11 AM to 9 AM.

TARGETough = Core Conditioning/Plyometrics This is a rigorous circuit effort that is for all around fitness. You will not stop moving for the hour, doing a combination of functional strength, power, agility drills and obstacle course type efforts.  There will be a heavy emphasis on plyometric efforts. 

TARGETorque = Indoor cycling (power in circles). Led by a cycling coach, these classes leverage group dynamics to inspire performance, but are also tailored to each individual.  We utilize power meters, cadence sensors, speedometers, odometers, time and heart rate to monitor and to measure your efforts throughout the session. We will put you on virtual courses (e.g., riding up the Alpes) or on a series of intervals. We use music to keep you going, but there will be times that you will simply focus on getting done with the set.   As in all our endurance classes, we focus on which your training period (base, buildup, speed, transition).  These are great 1.5+ hour classes. TargeTour is the outdoor version of these rides and the sessions are highly structured.

TARGETKB = Kick boxing. Taught by a highly trained martial art instructor, you will keep those legs going non stop.  The sweat will need to be continually wiped away from your eyes while you focus on form, function and fluidity.    These classes are literally a kick and a half.

TARGETide = Swim. These sessions are a combination of instructional (form) and training (fitness). You are watched to help tweak your stroke. You are timed to push yourself as appropriate to improve your endurance and speed. These sessions occur three times a week and also go outdoors in the warmer months of the year.  In the warm months, you will practice with a wetsuit in open water as much as twice a week.

TARGETread =  Running. Our sessions are designed for all levels from new runners to experienced competitors.  We do form drills, speed work, distance training, designed to help triathletes, pure runners as well as to cross train for other sports and for general fitness.  TARGETreadtrail is the trail running version and we do that when it gets cold. These are fantastic classes that put you into a peaceful oblivion while at the same time push your fitness to new heights.    Even 20 degree weather is warm when you are running trails.  You will learn how to run downhill among rocks and twigs and in the snow. This is fun stuff.
