Scott is one of the great bicycle companies. While not
as big as Specialized, Giant, Trek or Cannondale, Scott has had a large
impact on the sport. Let's start with its sponsorship of Team
Columbia (George Hincapie's team) for 2009. Then move to the
fact that Scott Plasma LTD's had the fastest bike time splits at
Ironman Hawaii in 2008. Scott makes ongoing investments in new designs
and technology across both road, mountain and cyclo-cross.
Most importantly, Scott has road bikes that start around $800 but
range up north of $10,000 shows Scott wants to get the right bike
to the right person.
TARGETRAINING is proud to partner with Scott. Scott
Montgomery, one of the founding family of Cannondale, speaks of
Scott's mission in simple terms. "We are about three things:
commitment to product development, commitment to our staff and
our clients, and financial commitment to the business of
cycling." Music to our ears. And their bikes we hope will
be great fun for you to ride.
